Welcome from the Interim Associate Provost

Thanks for visiting the Office of International and Border Programs (IBP) on the campus of New Mexico State University. Our goal is to build bridges, open doors, and expand discovery of international life, learning, and engagement for students, faculty and staff – whether that means coming to NMSU from around the planet or heading out from NMSU to explore the world.

Within IBP we have a number of interesting resources for the globally-minded Aggie – or our friends from around the globe who would like to become Aggies or collaborate with their Aggie counterparts. We have the Confucius Institute, the Center for Latin American and Border Studies, the Center for English Language Programs, the Office of Education Abroad, Aggies Go Global, and International Student and Scholar Services. So, if you’re up for learning Chinese, want to study in another country, work on a project overseas, invite your international counterparts to collaborate on research or just about any other idea you might have about global linkages, stop by or give us a call to see how we can help.

This site will help you on your journey to find out more on events, opportunities, administrative processes and news about ‘going global’.

Again, welcome to the world of IBP and New Mexico State University where we are discovering the world and transforming lives.
