On Tuesday, April 7, 2015, IBP held its 2014-15 Globalization Awards ceremony. This year the event was held in the new Domenici building’s atrium and a heightened effort was made to attract nominees. UNM and NMSU are working to increase funding for New Mexicans to go abroad. In the current legislative season these universities will be working to garner support for Senate Bill 64, the “UNM and NMSU Student Global Competitiveness Bill”.
