EMPLOYEE INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL FORMS AND PROCEDURES

International and Border Programs (IBP) has implemented an improved way for supervisors and administrators across campus to manage international travel for NMSU employees and students. IBP is incorporating a web-based step that should further streamline and expedite the process while giving international travelers information to keep them safe while they carry out their NMSU work.

This is a three-step process:

  1. Go to the IBP website (https://ibp.nmsu.edu/international-travel-procedures/) and download the travel request form(s) you need. Forms are fillable online in Adobe. Print the forms and obtain the required signatures. Once required signatures have been obtained, send the hardcopy to Cindy Garrett in Breland 152. You can hand carry the original forms, or you can send them via intercampus mail to MSC 3567. DO NOT try to upload the travel forms into the account you will be creating on the OEA website.
  2. Create an account. Click here for directions on how to make an account. Fill out the required fields and your travel itinerary.
  3. Once information is verified and the travel form(s) have been approved, you will get a follow-up email with instructions on how to download and print out the approved form.

Please call, email or stop by if you have questions.
