NMSU now provides passport application acceptance services at its main campus in Las Cruces.
The service is available to both the general public and students.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Monday through Friday
8:30 am – 1:00 pm
Currently not accepting appointments. Walk-in service only.
We are located in Breland Hall Rm 152G on the New Mexico State University campus. If you are using GPS put in “Breland Hall, Las Cruces, NM 88003” (don’t use our physical address below).

Fees vary. There are different fees depending on if it is a new passport application if the applicant is an adult or a minor if it is the person’s first passport if it is a renewal, etc. There is also an acceptance/execution fee.
Items that you need to bring (colored copies)
Driver’s License – front and back
Birth Certificate (copy and original)
U.S. Naturalization form ( copy and original)
Checks and money orders only.
Sorry – No cash or credit cards accepted.
Note that the check or money order for the U.S. Passport should be made to the Department of State, and the check or money order for the $35 acceptance fee should be made directly to NMSU Office of International and Border Programs. These are separate payments and cannot be on one check. They must be paid in two separate checks.
The NMSU Passport Acceptance Facility can take your official passport photos at the time of your visit. The cost is $10 for 2 photos.
